Topic: Ranking question

What is the number that is shown in parenthesis after the points your team has scored?

Re: Ranking question

Sets Won

It's used as kind of a tiebreaker.  Say your Team is full of winners and gets you 950 points, but you didn't do so good on Match Picks and only got 400 points from them for a total of 1350.  But your opponent has a worse team with only 750 points, but better Picks at 600, you would be tied.  However, Sets Won would be in your favor, since your team would have won more sets than his, therefore the win would go to you.

Did I explain that ok?

Re: Ranking question

It's crystal clear now Arvis, thanks!

Re: Ranking question

It also helps you in another way - in that same scenario, if your players and your opponent's players make it to the same rounds, but your players always lose in 5 set matches and his players always lose in straight sets, then your tenacious players would give you more sets won and you would be ahead.

Re: Ranking question

I've seen that happen a few times, Charles.  It's a brilliant stat to use as a tiebreaker.  Really genius.
