I gambled on Delpo. Not sure at all how this will turn out. I figured it was an eighth where anything could happen with Delpo, Raonic, Pospisil, Monfils..

First I had Raonic in the semies. It thought: hey how cool would it be to see Milos beat Rafa and Grigor beat Roger? The new generation beating the old guard. Then I remembered Rafa is Rafa.

EDIT: yeah it's unfar to withdraw once the qualies have started. It means a lucky loser instead of a direct entry.. Plus it is sick for us fantasy tennis players. Hopefully his luckyloser goes deep wink

I had him losing his first match of the draw and I'm surprised ANYBODY had him winning anything after he has been dropping out of tournaments and losing early over the last couple months

It's a gamble Johnny. Because if he plays it means he's serious enough about his chances. And we all know what damage he can do on hard courts. But yeah,  retrospectively, it was stupid.

Well..... Not necessarily "stupid", you do have a point. However from what I've seen in my short time really following tennis it seems players stay in because they just want to play rather than any kind of confidence that they actually can play

Adunar, I couldn't bring myself to pick Haas over Dolgo, much less Stan, even though I wanted to.  However, I did take a chance and put Haas on my Vader team.  That'll doom him (and you) for sure.

BHP - those appearance fees are ridiculous. I've always been a big fan of Delpo but he's been really bothering me lately. I've hated that he's never followed up the US Open win with anything important and this wrist thing is driving me nuts. Go away if youre hurt. You must know by now.

Not going for these brave picks are why I am always in the middle of the pack. I need to grow some balls.

Adunar, I couldn't bring myself to pick Thiem over Robredo, but I like that you did.  I think Thiem has a great chance in that match.  I just love Robredo and I believe his experience will see him through that match.  Couldn't pick against him.

Yeah, Robredo always screws up. He's a player I never pick at the right time. Always misses him when he goes deep and when I pick him, he loses 1st round. Hopefully Thiem will beat him...
