And how do you find the TDC website? Any good?

I think that one of the big advantages of the TDC website is its simplicity, it is very easy to use, and for the new users, with only a reading to the section About, its functioning is already comprised. Also, it offers a large number of statistics that well analyzed are of great help. And, by the way also I´m a fan of the statistics so I appreciate all the information that can be consulted.

Of course I like, also it´s a site in full growth, look at this data:

Users in 2016
ATP Brackets     793
ATP Teams        335
WTA Brackets    664
WTA Teams       311
Total               2103

Users in 2017
ATP Brackets    1609     (202,9%)
ATP Teams         484     (144,5%)
WTA Brackets   1028     (154,8%)
WTA Teams        325     (104,5%)
Total                3446     (163,9%)

I think that to have obtained this year +60% of growth is an achievement and a sign of the acceptance of the site. Must be proud of what you have reached...

I’m intrigued by this. I agree with Adunar that the coherence of the Teams competition would be undermined by awards for the different tiers. At the moment I cannot see a sensible way around that conundrum. However I would also be very interested if one of you statistical genii were to analyse in tiers the picks of, say, the top 5 team players, and see whether or not there are consistent correlations with the overall outcome. Just for fun!!

Let's see Drivers, which do you believe are the players more picked for the Top 5 Yoda Crew 2017 Teams Players adding GS+M1000?

..Haha - straight to the crux of the question Lexus! With 82 slots to fill and 8 picks per player the simple answer is to assume that top 10 are very heavily represented. I’m sure that is where the stats would show that the emphasis lies. But, getting anywhere in the rankings seems to me to be down to knowing to what degree?? There are often very small margins in this game and whilst current form, past history in a particular tournament are very useful guides I think experience shows that our resident stat gurus usually have a significant edge! If you can persuade them to reveal even more of their expert knowledge than they generously do already, I, for one, will be very happy! smile

2016:-Diamond Droid and Captain Plasma Helmet Champ.
2018:-Ruby Droid and Jar Jar Dartboard Champ.
2019:-Yoda Crew Most Improved Player.

Re: YODA CREW AWARDS "2017"

Interesting Lexus. Tsonga is not the only anomaly (3 with 28 picks and year end 15). Sock (25 with 4 picks/8), PCB (28with 2 picks /10) and even Querrey (21/13) Are the ones I would have liked to have picked more consistently! I think there have been more upheavals in the top rankings this year than usual but even so, the emerging players stand out to me. I think Murrayband Djokovic would have harvested similar numbers to Rafa, Roger and Stan had they not had to withdraw in the last part of the year:- perhaps they were replaced by Tsonga, though I’m astonished that JW had the same number of GS picks as Roger! Hard, for me to see Rhyme or reason in the finer details!!

2016:-Diamond Droid and Captain Plasma Helmet Champ.
2018:-Ruby Droid and Jar Jar Dartboard Champ.
2019:-Yoda Crew Most Improved Player.

Tsonga NOT have the same number of GS picks as Roger. They have the same total 28, but Roger has 3 more GS picks (14 vs 11). An explanation can be that Federer only played this year 3 GS and 4 M1000, Tsonga played 4 GS and 6 M1000, then Roger has the same number of total picks, but with 3 less tournaments played.
